- When folding laundry, fold the big stuff first, then underwear, then socks
- Sleeping with socks on really helps sometimes
- Bidet toilets are seriously awesome
- Practicing/getting better usually involves resistance/pain
- Be happy for no reason whatsoever
- Try to listen 80% of the time with others, talk the other 20%
- When shocked or angry, it is better to stay silent for as long as possible
- Politics is an intellectual black hole
- Learning more instruments builds empathy when playing with other musicians
- It’s crazy how quickly your mood can change just by listening to music
- The little things really are what matter in all relationships
- Read more books, watch less TV
- Never eat a large bag of potato chips for lunch
- Every once in a while, listen to a whole album of music, with no distractions
- Chew food slowly
- Caffeine works best when not used everyday
- Take walks everyday
- Try not to think about money first thing in the morning and last thing before you sleep
- I’ve never regretted watching the sunset
- Try seeing the stars in a non-light polluted place
- Close the seat before flushing a toilet
- Patience is a superpower
- Listen for different bird songs when outside
- Try something if you’re worried how long it will take, many times it will be faster than you expect
- Try running a marathon
